Enter the decimal odds of every runner separated by commas. The calculator removes the favourite and shows you the combined implied probability of the remaining field — instantly telling you whether a Dutch on the rest of the field has mathematical legs.
Go to Betfair or your bookmaker and note the decimal odds of every runner in the race. Type them all in, separated by commas, and hit Check.
The calculator automatically identifies and removes the favourite — the horse with the shortest odds — then adds up the implied probability of every other runner. That combined percentage tells you whether Dutching the rest of the field is worth considering.
66% or above — Good Setup: The non-favourites collectively represent a strong enough implied probability that a Dutch could be viable. Worth looking closer at the individual runners.
Below 66% — Proceed with Caution: The favourite is so dominant that the remaining field does not offer enough combined probability. The Dutch may still work but the risk/reward is less favourable.
Why 66%? It represents roughly 3/2 in implied probability terms — a sensible minimum threshold for a Dutch to cover your stake with a reasonable margin.
Use this as a quick pre-race filter before opening the Dutching for Stake or Dutching for Profit calculators. If the field fails the 66% test, move on to the next race.
Found a race that passes the 66% test? Open the Dutching calculators and put it to work.
